## About
Leila Walet Mohamed is a Malian visual artist of Touareg origin. Her work is deeply rooted in Tamasheq culture — the indigo blue of Touareg veils, the gold of Agadez jewelry, and the infinite Sahara sand become pictorial matter on her canvases. She uses Tifinagh script (the ancestral Touareg alphabet) and the Croix d'Agadez (a protective Touareg symbol) as recurring visual elements.

Her signature quote: "Chaque faisceau de couleur renferme une histoire à partager, une émotion à saisir, une vie à immortaliser." (Each beam of color holds a story to share, an emotion to grasp, a life to immortalize.)

A series of paintings on deep Touareg blue (#0033FF) backgrounds featuring gold Tifinagh symbols and Croix d'Agadez motifs. A tribute to women who silently transmit culture.
